What were all about: Finding good restaurants that are big family friendly
Where are we: San Diego, Ca but we do travel so there will be reviews of good eats in other cities, maybe near you
Why Hungry Squirrels: When my oldest son was 3, he woke up one morning stavring and started begging for breakfast. He said "the squirrels in my tummy are hungry". Of course I laughed, feed him breakfast and then wrote that down.
Who are the critics: My husband, Derek the picky about prices but "not picky" eater. Me, Bethany, although I'm not a qualified food critic I'm a foodie at heart. Shayne, my oldest son, loves his meat and carbs not afraid to speak his mind. Ryleigh, oldest daughter, LOVES food like her mama, wants everything to look pretty. Liam, littlest son, just learning about the joy of good eats, but knows when a place is not kid friendly. Ava, the baby girl, too little to give an opinion right now but I know that will soon change.

Cici's Pizza

Cici's Pizza
San Diego

We went to Cici's for the all you can eat pizza buffet. Anytime we go to a buffet I always wonder if it will be worth the money. Some of our kids will only make one trip through. We walked in the door and was greeted with a warm welcome. Really, half the employees welcomed us to Cici's. It was so nice to feel like they were very happy we came. The restaurant was very clean and the food was good. They have every kind of pizza you can think of, Alfredo, Taco, Mac and Cheese. You name it, they probably have it. There's a side room full of arcade games always a big hit with the kids. And they have a Jukebox, which I thought was cool. I love me a good Jukebox. The staff was very friendly and ready to help with any little thing we needed. We had a wonderful time and we all went through the line many times.

Shayne's Favorite: the bread sticks, they are buttery with lots of parmesan cheese
Least Favorite: the cinnamon roll, not enough cinnamon

Ryleigh's Favorite: Mac&Cheese pizza, loves all the cheesy goodness
Least Favorite: the cinnamon rolls, too much cinnamon

Liam's Favorite: the candy from the game room, he likes the claw game were you pick up candy
Least Favorite: he wasn't clear, but I would guess us leaving the table to get more food he freaked out every time

Bethany's Favorite: hands down the Mac&Cheese pizza, it's really cheesy with perfect pasta, it's why I want to go
Least Favorite: the pasta selection, they only have one, so if you were hoping for pasta you would be disappointed

Derek's Favorite: all the pizza choices, they have every kind you could want. And if they don't have the type you want made they'll make it for you and bring it to your table
Least Favorite: the lack of salad they only have two kinds (I think this is funny because he's not a huge salad fan, he'll eat it if it's made but he wont go out of his way to have one)

Pricing: It was $4.99 for an adult and a drink was under $2. Liam was free and kids under 10 are a discounted price.

Rating: 41/2 spoons out of 5

We will be back this has quickly become one of the go to lunch spots. The staff is so friendly and the pizza's great. They are big family friendly for sure!
